Santiago’s company BALIDEA, partner of CIS Technology and Design in the FISIOROB project, financed by the Interconecta program, was interested in combining the advances in robotics in which they were already working, with the development of virtual reality systems in the systems of physiological recovery of patients. Therefore, the project centred on the development of a clinical rehabilitation system for patients, which combined robotics tools, virtual reality and classic patient monitoring elements.

A solution consisting of a robotic rehabilitation system was developed that, through virtual reality tools, contemplated all the stages of the data collection process that would later be validated by the medical personnel involved in the patient’s rehabilitation.
